Rekindle 2009

We are Home! We had an incredible week at Rekindle 2009! This is our 5th Rekindle and the best one yet! (Rekindle is our spring break retreat for M28, the campus ministry to UNCC at our church that Joe leads). I was freshly grateful this trip for the JOY in helping with M28. I simply love campus ministry. And I am so grateful that we still get to be a part since the girls have been born. Rekindle is by far the highlight of the year for M28. About 100 kids came this year and many, many lives were changed, by God's grace! It's a week of laughter (M28 has THE best games!), relationships deepening, Gods Word taught, incredible worship and LOTS of beach time! Me and the girls got to go a day early with Steve, Liz & Jason Honea. That was my favorite day of the trip...an entire day just me & the girls on the beach! My girls LOVE the beach! It was a special day. Hanna Lloyd, my incredible mothers-helper, came to be with the girls during the meetings. I missed not being with them all day. By the end of the week I could tell they missed Mommy (even though I was with them most of the day). I skipped the last meeting of the week to take Alathea out on a much needed ice cream date just with Mom. She was much happier after that. 

It was a simply incredible week! I have tons of pictures, but not sure when I'll put them on my computer. So these lovely ones are courtesy of Chavia, who we were blessed to have with us! Hopefully I'll post more soon. Right now I'm gonna finish tackling this mountain of laundry...and I DO mean mountain!!
